2nd European Edition of Medela´s
Breastfeeding & Lactation
Symposium Series 2025

Welcome to the Second European edition of Medela´s Breastfeeding & Lactation Symposium Series 2025! This event is part of the Medela 17th Global Breastfeeding and Lactation Symposium Series focused on advancing lactation science to improve care. For this opportunity, we will gather around the theme “Empowering Perinatal Teams”.

A group of 15 renowned speakers from around the world will meet in Lisbon, Portugal for two days. Besides sharing scientific evidence, they will exchange best practices, and lead the development of strategies to improve how lactation care and infant feeding teams work together in Europe. Find out more about our guest faculty and the scientific agenda on this page and register for the live streaming on Day 1, Thursday, November 13th. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a state-of-the-art program in three sessions: 1. Novel Advances in Neonatal Care, 2. Optimizing Mother’s Own Milk Volumes in At-Risk Populations and 3. Bridging the Gap – Working Towards 100% Human Milk and Breastfeeding Beyond Discharge and post their questions during the live discussion sessions.

Join us on this very exciting journey to turn science into care!
